Angela received her Doctor and Master degree in piano performance from the University of Michigan with full scholarship. She is an award winner and has been invited to perform throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. Her performance was broadcasted on "Performance Today" show from NPR.
Angela was Assistant Professor at Murray State University, and taught at the University of Michigan, Adrian College, Schoolcraft College and San Diego State University Community Music School.
Besides teaching and performs as a soloist, Angela also enjoys a successful career as a collaborative pianist. She has worked with musicians from leading music schools and orchestras such as LA Philharmonic and Russian National Orchestra. She performed as a keyboardist at San Diego Symphony Orchestra, Grand Rapids Symphony and Lansing Symphony Orchestra.
Her major mentors include competitions laureate Arthur Greene, Sean Duggan, Daming Zhu and legendary pianist Ruth Slenczynska. Angela also studied accompaniment/chamber music with Martin Katz, Phillip Bush, Christopher Harding and harpsichord with Edward Parmentier. She performed in masterclasses with Jerome Lowenthal, Nelita True, Ming-Qiang Li, Mykola Suk and Janice Weber.
